Reflective music for school worship

Teachers struggle to find suitable collections of reflective music for school worship, including assemblies. Brian Beresford has released two CDs, each  containing 24 tracks, to meet that need.

The tracks on Wanderweg and Over The Stile have been produced to enhance the worshipful atmosphere and the meditative listening skills of children during collective worship. The music can be played as a focus for reflection or alongside appropriate images or a simple candle flame. The use of carefully chosen music can greatly enrich the spiritual development of a child and bring them closer to the threshold of worship. Encouraging children to be still, to concentrate deeply and reflect upon their own experiences and the world around them, gives the child an opportunity to discover their own spirit and meet with God.

Creative teachers will find many other ways to use Wanderweg and Over The Stile in their classrooms, including inspiration for art, poetry and dance.
Wanderweg is now used regularly throughout the country, and Over The Stile has been produced in order to double the number of tracks now available.
